Dr. Mary Madden is a Lecturer in Applied Health Research in the School of Healthcare at the University of Leeds. She is a sociologist with a background in welfare rights and community work and has a particular interest in patient and public knowledge and understanding of chronic illness, health care research and health technology assessment.
