Helena Cleeve is a doctoral student in health care sciences at Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm Sweden. She has a background as a designer (with a BFA from the School of Industrial Design in Lund and an MFA in Transdiciplinary Design from Parsons the New School for Design in New York). Her research interests include materialities and care as part of everyday life, particularly in the contexts of residential care facilities and in end of life care. She is also interested in developing visual methodologies to explore and elucidate issues of materialities.
